Cobscook Institute

Cobscook Institute, started in 1999 as Cobscook Community Learning Center, offers summer outdoor programs for tween and teens, including a scaffolded set of three outdoor skills and boating expedition camps and multiple offerings of youth sailing, all taking place in Washington County and typically free of charge or on a sliding scale to residents of the region. A year-round suite of community programs focuses on community connection, arts and creative expression, movement, agriculture, and ecology.

They also offer a publicly-accessible high school program focused on experiential, relational, and outdoor-based learning models for diverse student needs in a supportive environment.
